Whether it is a DfE initiative to cut teachers’ workload or recruitment drive to encourage applicants into teaching, the context in which schools and training providers are operating in 2019 includes one of deep concern at the difficulties in recruiting and retaining teachers in the system. This year’s conference will address these concerns throughout the day.

Looking at the Broad and Balanced Curriculum

Friday 29th March 2019, 10am to 3pm

University of Worcester
St John’s Campus, WR2 6AJ
Binyon Building Room BY G199

This event is an exciting opportunity for all teachers and teacher educators in the primary phase with an interest in curriculum and teacher development to explore the current curriculum landscape within schools.

The seminar is designed to be a collaborative event which will examine the impact of the narrowing of the curriculum. Through speakers and workshops, the seminar aims to offer insights into how we can support a broad and balanced curriculum within schools and still meet the challenges and demands of a results-focused system.
